TITLE: Accountant
DEPARTMENT: Administration

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Process and record assigned financial transactions (payables and/or receivables) in bill pay system and general ledger. Compile regular reports to monitor adherence to budget targets and prepare regular financial statements for senior management and government/regulatory agencies.
KEY ROLES (Essential Job Responsibilities):
1. Compiles regular financial reports (budget variance reports, general ledger updates, etc.) to
support management-level decision making regarding the Club’s fiscal health.
2. Processes bills through online bill payment system, ensuring bills are coded and classed correctly.
3. Monitor day-to-day accounting processes to identify opportunities for quality improvement.
4. Ensure the maintenance of accurate and timely financial records by entering, processing and
reconciling transactions in accordance with established procedures and formats.
5. Implement day-to-day accounting activities, processing all financial transactions and reports
through administrative systems, consistent with Club policies and procedures.
6.Prepare grant and foundation reimbursement and financial reports as necessary.
7. Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
- Associates degree or equivalent
- Two or more years of general accounting experience
- Experience with Quickbooks preferred
- Strong communication skills
