The Discovery Science class, at the Franklin Elementary afterschool program, had the chance to dissect owl pellets! There were mixed emotions when Mr. Rhodes described the activity, but soon they were all eagerly digging through the pellet to find the animal bones. It was really fun to see them all take part in this activity and to learn about the eating habits of birds of prey.
