About LaVell Edwards: LaVell Edwards and his wife, Patti, were made lifetime honorary board members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Utah County nine years ago. LaVell’s support and influence in recruiting players, finding sponsors, and organizing the schedule of events have helped the tournament bring in over $100,000 each year, making it the Clubs’ largest annual fundraiser for the past 18 years. After LaVell’s passing, the tournament was renamed the LaVell Edwards Memorial Golf Tournament in honor of his example of kindness and service to the children in our community.
