Commitment to Safety

Child safety is our top priority. We enforce strict safety policies, continually updated to protect young people in all our programs. All staff, board members, and volunteers undergo annual FBI background checks and National Sex Offender Registry screenings.

Staff are also mandated reporters, required to report any safety concerns to local authorities and Boys & Girls Clubs of America within 24 hours. For additional support, a confidential 24-hour Child Safety Hotline is available at 866-607-SAFE.

Afterschool Programs

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Utah County assist parents, teachers, and schools in helping kids reach their full potential by providing a safe place for kids to be during afterschool hours. We use evidence-based programs to reinforce and enhance the skills and knowledge young people learn at school during the hours they spend at the Club. We also provide enrichment activities that include physical activity, art, STEM learning, sports, music, and more.
