The Discovery art discovery class at the Franklin Elementary afterschool program learned about the famous artist Jackson Pollock and his messy but fun splatter paint techniques. Kids cut out a design and then taped that to a big piece of butcher paper. Then, they went outside and splattered paint all over the paper (and themselves). After the pictures dried, the kids peeled away the top paper to reveal their designs.
