Provo, Utah — The Boys & Girls Club of Utah County today announced that nCino, a global leader in intelligent banking software with a significant presence in Utah, will partner with the Club to expand access to technology and STEM education for local teens through the creation of the nCino Innovation Lab at the Club’s new Kent B. Nelson Provo Clubhouse.

Located in the heart of Provo, the nCino Innovation Lab will serve teens ages 12–18 from across Utah County, with a focus on youth from areas experiencing the highest levels of need. The space will provide hands-on access to technology, STEM programming, and career-connected learning opportunities designed to prepare young people for success in Utah’s rapidly growing technology economy.

“We’re fortunate to have talented employees who are part of this community, and we want to invest where they live and work,” said Sean Desmond, CEO of nCino. “Technology is transforming every industry, and the young people at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Utah County deserve access to the tools and training that will prepare them for what comes next. This Club is doing exceptional work, and we’re proud to support what they’re building here in Provo.”

As Utah continues to grow as a hub for innovation through Silicon Slopes, the partnership reflects a shared commitment to ensuring local youth have equitable access to the education and skills needed to participate in that future.

“Having grown up in Utah, I’ve seen firsthand how investing in people strengthens communities and creates opportunity,” said Casey Williams, General Manager of nCino Mortgage. “Utah’s technology ecosystem is thriving, and that growth starts with our youth. By investing in the Boys & Girls Clubs of Utah County, nCino is investing in the next generation of leaders, builders, and problem-solvers who will drive Utah’s continued success.”

The nCino Innovation Lab will offer evidence-based STEM programming, digital literacy opportunities, and space for mentorship and career exploration. In addition to financial support, the partnership creates opportunities for nCino employees in Utah to volunteer, mentor teens, and lead hands-on workshops—connecting young people directly to real-world career pathways.

“This partnership is a powerful investment in the future of Provo and Utah County,” said David Bayles, Executive Director of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Utah County. “The nCino Innovation Lab will give our teens access to technology, mentorship, and learning experiences they wouldn’t otherwise have. We’re deeply grateful for nCino’s commitment to our community and for believing in the potential of the young people we serve every day.”

“This partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Utah County exemplifies nCino’s commitment to our core philanthropic pillars of education, empowerment, and community development,” said Kyle Metzger-Gee, Senior Inclusion, Community, and Philanthropy Specialist at nCino. “By investing in STEM education and community-based partnerships in Utah, we’re creating meaningful opportunities for young people while strengthening the communities where our employees live and work.”

Construction of the new Provo Clubhouse is scheduled for completion in early 2026, with teen programming launching shortly thereafter. The nCino Innovation Lab is expected to serve hundreds of teens annually and provide long-term benefits for families and the broader Utah County community.
